You Can Make a Difference in these Girls’ lives

UNICEF estimates that one out of every ten school-age African girls either skip school or drop out entirely because of lack of access to on-site sanitation. In Uganda, over 280 students attend SEEP an orphanage/school in the Iganga district of the country. While more than half of these students are girls ages 2 to 15, they are left without access to toilet/shower facilities. This gap affects their school attendance, their health and their attitudes about continuing their education. Last Mile4D is working with this orphanage to improve the quality of education for students, while addressing the privacy of girls of all ages in this co-ed orphanage. We are supporting the building of two Girls toilet and shower facilities on site at the SEEP orphanage/school.

Your support can turn this dream into a reality for the girls living at SEEP
